I am an analytical geochemist, and I run a university research lab where we study natural materials, isotope geochemistry, environmental systems, climate change, and the complex processes that shape our world. My work revolves around high-precision scientific instrumentation, from mass spectrometers to advanced computing hardware, which has fueled my long-standing interest in technology. I’ve been involved in Bitcoin since 2014, drawn to its intersection of open systems, energy, and decentralization. In both the lab and the Bitcoin ecosystem, I work with highly specialized tools to analyze and understand complex systems, whether they are natural or digital. Through the Progressive Bitcoiner Organization, I’m excited to support research that explores how Bitcoin can drive financial inclusion, sustainability, and social impact.
