Trey is dedicated to spreading the message that Bitcoin transcends geographical and socioeconomic barriers, making it a truly universal tool poised to empower those facing the greatest challenges. Trey runs the day-to-day operations and leadership of the organization, focusing on policy, research, team management and building new connections and funding opportunities. Evan is a self-employed technology consultant, web designer/developer/host, and life-long early adopter. He has a passion for the nonprofit world, has worked with countless organizations, and proudly serves on a local board. He first stumbled upon bitcoin in roughy 2013, but like many, he dismissed it as only for illegal online purchases and foolishly ignored it until early 2017 when its appeal as an alternate to the traditional financial system and curiosity about the technology finally took root.
